Surfactants at Work: Detergency and Cleaning Product Formulation

A seminar consisting of presentations by KRÜSS and guest speakers, hands-on lab sessions, and networking opportunities

The development of effective detergent formulations requires a sound understanding of the physical and chemical processes that govern cleaning performance, together with analytical methods capable of revealing them. This seminar will bring together industry experts to explore the science behind detergency and the measurement techniques that support formulation development.

Through presentations from the KRÜSS Applications Team and invited guest speakers (to be confirmed), attendees will follow the key stages of the detergency journey, from wetting and spreading, through soil interaction, encapsulation and removal, to foam formation and its role in cleaning performance. Along the way, the seminar will demonstrate how surface and interfacial analysis can provide valuable insights into formulation behaviour and product performance.

While centred on detergency, the seminar will also appeal to scientists and engineers working in related fields where wetting, surfactants and surface interactions are equally important.

Whether your interest lies in detergent formulation or the broader application of surface science, the seminar offers practical insights that can be applied across a wide range of formulation and process challenges.
